Valuation of 850 acres of land including timberland within the boundaries of the Fort Pickett Military Reservation near Blackstone, Virginia for US General Services Administration for development of the State Department’s Foreign Affairs Security Training Center. The assignment was complicated by the site’s remote rural location and absence of arms length transactional data for over 20 years in a market historically dominated by local government economic development transfers at nominal prices.
